On October 9, 2013 at Campus Church, Jimmy Carroll, lead pastor at Journey Church, spoke on the need for a sense of urgency within the church.  Challenging individuals to step up, he claimed that the "we" has to stop being a substitute for the "me".

Jimmy Carroll planted Journey Church in 2005 and currently serves as its Lead Pastor. He has been in ministry since 1989 first serving as a Student Ministry Pastor. Jimmy is extremely passionate about helping others follow Jesus and making Jesus' name famous in the city of Raleigh, the nation, and the world.
