This a combination of two videos that I got while on a railfanning trip to Igatpuri in June 2018. It was monsoon so the entire landscape was green and beautiful. We left from Mumbai at around 6 am and reached Igatpuri by around 9:30 am (after stopping at Asangaon and Kasara to see a few trains). The location where we finally reached is a very pretty one towards the top of the Thul Ghat (which is from Kasara to Igatpuri). At about 09:50 am, the Mumbai CST - Bhusaval Passenger slowly climbs up the ghat led by a WCAM-3 and dead WAP-4 locomotive and pushed up by a couple of WCAM-3 bankers. At the same time a WAG-7 trio of bankers descends the ghat. This Bhusaval passenger has never before been captured at this location. Just ten minutes later, at about 10 am, the Jalna - Dadar Jan Shatabdi Express with a WDM-3D locomotive descends the ghat towards Mumbai and at the same time the Mumbai CST - Jammu Tawi AC Special (LHB rake) climbs up hauled by a WAG-5 and pushed by 2 WAG-7s. It was really nice to capture these trains in a span of 10-15 minutes at such a beautiful location and with lovely weather too. The rumbling sounds the trains make as they pass over the bridge (Ehgaon viaduct) is just music to the ears. Date of video: 22nd June, 2018
