8-Bit Eric ( 8BE ) http://www.original-gamer.com/article/4770-8Bit-Eric-Mighty-Switch-Force-Hyper-Drive-Edition-Review http://the8bitericshow.blogspot.com/2012/12/mighty-switch-force-hyper-drive-edition.html This my Mighty Switch Force Hyper Drive Edition (Wii U) Review. Mighty Switch Force: Hyper drive edition is essentially an upgraded version of Mighty Switch force for the 3ds. This game challenges you to complete stages in a timely manner and puts you control of Officer Patricia Wagon as you make your way through dozens of cunningly designed levels, solve puzzles, and capture well-hidden convicts in each stage. You can switch dimensions and make blocks appear to reach new heights or even activate cannons to blast across entire stages. Later levels will push you to your limits as multiple cannons and block layers are used to confuse you, The game looks great. It is a nice combination of retro goodness, combined with a polished HD cel shaded look that not only looks great, but is fun to play. Not to mention, the escaped convicts are totally cute in their tiny little prison outfits... yep I said it. The gameplay of this game is a combination of a puzzle game and a platform game, it is up to you to figure out how to reach each convict using your ability to switch blocks on or off. D-pad moves, Y shoots and B jumps, pretty straight forward stuff. The shoulder buttons phase bricks in and out, which is the basis for the game. Mighty Switch Force plays similar to the 3DS version but has some differences, such as looks and Hyper Drive levels, which are remixed variations of the game's existing this is the game's only real flaw now is that these new levels aren't available from the start. You'll have to play through each of the original 21 stages before you can unlock their hyper variations, which may come as a slight annoyance to those who've already played the 3DS version The game allows for Game-pad only play which is a huge bonus. The game looks impressive on the GamePad and is an acceptable way to play if the TV is not available and you need to satisfy your "Mighty Switch Force" craving. Even if you've already played the 3DS version, Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition is a fantastic title that all Wii U owners should check out. The game offers a satisfying blend of platforming and puzzle elements, complemented by a host of new stages and beautiful HD visuals. It is available for download in the eShop and is a good recommendation of a game. Hey guys! Enjoy this video? Support the show! Please LIKE, COMMENT, FAVORITE AND SHARE!
