While we love traveling around with our daughter, we also enjoy discovering our home town of Basel with all it has to offer. On this weekend excursion we visited the Museum of Cultures in the heart of Basel. Major highlights of the exhibition include priceless artefacts from Papua New Guinea and a section dedicated to the history and cultural significance of the Basel Fasnacht (Carnival).
