The Philadelphia Police Department's Northeast Detectives Division is looking to identify the individual who robbed Tacony Food Mart in Tacony.

On December 22, 2013, at 2:59 pm, an employee of Tacony Food Mart located at 6648 Torresdale Avenue was inside working when an unknown male entered the store pointing a handgun at him demanding money. During the robbery the employee began to comply with the suspect but when the store employee began to struggle with the suspect, the suspect fled the store without obtaining any money and was last seen west on Unruh Avenue toward Marsden Street.

Suspect Description: Hispanic male, light complected, 25-30 years-of-age, 5'6", 130 lbs., thin build, short hair, mustache, goatee, wearing blue jeans, white-hooded sweatshirt with a blue hooded sweatshirt underneath, and armed with a handgun.
