Bloodborne™ bells lure beasts!

No longer a mystery! Hitting the bell lures beast-type enemies from as far as 2 or 3 rooms away. This includes the fire caster mage enemy found in Loran chalices. 

The hunter's dog monsters came running (as you can see) but the hunter mob himself ignored the bell proving my theory that only beast types come to the bell. 

Further testing showed that spiders do NOT react to the bell. It seems only wolf/werewolf type mobs do.
