I wanted to try wax slugs and shot loads today, so I took some 1/8 inch lead wire and cut it up into random length pieces between 1/4 and 3/4 inch long. I filled a 25 mm slug mould with these pieces, and then poured in melted wax. This gave me a 2 1/2 ounce lead wax slug. The rest of the pieces were used in two shots as loose shot. Plastic cups and spacers held the loose pieces in the chamber. Targets were at 10 meters, a board, pop cans and a water filled pop bottle. I did not use the chronograph, didn't want to risk shotgunning it. Slow motion clips were shot at 480 fps.
