Streaked prochilod. Scientific name: Prochilodus lineatus, Brazilian name: Curimbatá or Curimba. Class: Actinopterygii, Order: Characiformes, Family: Prochilodontidae. Feeding: (Iliophagous feeding habit), it feeds mainly on debris and filamentous algae at the bottom, ie: plant remains and sludge. Geographical distribution: Amazon basin, Tocantins-Araguaia, Prata, Parnaíba and São Francisco.
