For my third project as Annie Sloan's Painter in Residence I turned ornaments and some old plates into these cute trinket dishes!
Great to keep your jewellery untangled, for keeping your keys an change in a handy spot, to use as a serving tray for sweet treats or just as a pretty ornament in your bookcase or mantle piece.

You need animal ornaments, you might have some lurking around otherwise try a charity/thrift shop. Plates and saucers you don't use anymore, some strong glue, Chalk Paint® in your chosen colour. I used Pure, Annie Sloan Gold Size, Annie Sloan Metal Leaf Booklet in Copper, Chalk Paint® Lacquer, paint brushes and a soft cloth.
