These VTA UTDC light rail vehicles tram cars which are now SACRT light rail vehicles are parked by Sunrise Station on the Gold Lines extra siding track with a SACRT HI-Railer truck. These are new old light rail vehicles because they were San Jose`s old VTA light rail UTDC vehicles first then they sold them to Sacramento Regional Transit light rail so their new to the Sacramento light rail. We have a lot more ex-VTA UTDC trams which are now SACRT trams parked at the yard but they ran 2 of the new/old trams on the gold line in test mode trains today. But their was one problem. When they were using this train one of the light rail electric wires snapped and caused the train to get stuck at a crossing so they towed the trams with a rail truck back to the siding at the Sunrise Light Rail Station. It Delayed trains for 5 hours. The line is back up and running now. These Ex-VTA UTDC trams started getting put in our yard in 2003 and they finally ran a couple of them for the first time in test mode this year in 2014. I cant wait till all of these are running for service. These tram cars have been running now since September 2015. One of the UTDC Ex-VTA SACRT tram cars is SACRT 321 before it was repainted and I got it fully refurbished on the video in this link https://youtu.be/jsaihdpc5QY
