Here are the Division 2 Girls in the 800 Meters from the 2018 CIF (Southern Section) Track and Field Finals meet held on May 19, 2018 at El Camino College in Torrance, California.

Commentary: The 13th race of her sophomore season, Ashley Johnson comes within a second of her PR in this championship race, helped by a stiff challenges from Brown and Bautista. Johnson will go on to PR the following week at Masters and again at State, where she takes 5th. Rania Gomaa, the Torrance frosh who beat Johnson in that Prelims race, just doesn't have fresh legs for the last 130m.

Top 5 Individuals:
1 Ashley Johnson 10 Mission Viejo 2:13.9
2 Alysa Bautista 12 Capistrano Valley 2:14.1
3 Janiah Brown 11 Calabasas 2:15.0
