If your child struggles with seasonal allergies, especially if they're very young, I suggest talking with your pediatrician about management options. In general, cold medications, cough medications, and also antihistamines (or medications for allergies) should not be given to children under the age of 4 to 6 unless directed to do so by a pediatrician. So that's why you should talk with a doctor first, and they can give you tailored information and advice based on their knowledge of your child's circumstances.
