Hip 204, a daughter of Medaglia d’Oro out of Dawn Raid sold for $1,300,000 at The Saratoga Sale. The dark bay or brown filly was purchased by Phoenix Thoroughbred from the consignment of Warrendale Sales, agent. This filly is out of the stakes placed winning Vindication mare Dawn Raid, making her a half-sister to Exaggerator (Curlin), classic winner and multiple Grade 1 winning earner of nearly $3.6 million, including the 2016 Preakness S. (G1). Dawn Raid is herself a half-sister to champion and multiple graded stakes winner Embur’s Song and to stakes winner Ten Flat. This is the immediate family of Grade 1 winner Island Sand.
