The NBA seemed a lot more fun when Nikola Mirotic was one of its leading scorers. He's still sorta up there, hovering around 35th in the league in points per game, but that's wimpy compared to... was he first? After those first two games where he dropped 30 and 36? Man, I was having so much more fun back then. And so was he, and so were the Pelicans. Now the Pelicans are back at .500, Mirotic is back down to under 20 points per game, and the fun has gone elsewhere. Normally a loss to the 'Zards wouldn't be so bad, but they're having some weird issues right now (not even going to talk about the latest Dwight Howard stuff... hoo boy), so this should've been a win. Even without Anthony Davis. Speaking of Anthony Davis, if the Pelicans trade him or he leaves or whatever, I am totally in favor of giving the keys of the franchise to Tim Frazier. Just saying. Mirotic can be the second banana if he wants. All clips property of the NBA. No copyright infringement is intended. Check out http://downtobuck.net !
