I recently installed my lower Grillcraft mesh grille and the holes to screw the frame holder got hidden behind the grille. Also the frame holder is too thick to place back on. It would need to be modified a bit but I went ahead and bought a magnetic license plate holder from Ebay. The holder is rubber and the plate slips in. The magnet is rubber coated so it doesn't mess with your paint or metal surface.
