DESCRIPTION
On sites for war dead. Reel 1 explains that next of kin decide where dead are to be buried. Shows Pres. Truman with Under Secretary of War Royal and Quartermaster General Larkin; the Memorial Division office in the Pentagon; and Gen Horkan. In a dramatization, a war widow receives a letter explaining the Army's burial procedures. A friend explains the Army's use of temporary cemeteries. Reel 2, the order of kinship is explained. A racketeer tries unsuccessfully to be paid for the Army's free services. The widow decides where her husband is to be buried and notifies the Quartermaster General.
