Today, July 3, 2010, This is my fourth cover of Hilton Head beach/ocean conditions.  I went to Mitchellville Beach Park today to check on the beach conditions. The Ocean faces Port Royal Sound. It was absolutely beautiful today.  Weather -  sunny, clear blue skies, temperatures mid 90's. Ocean - warm, clear, clean. Traffic -  incoming traffic was bumper to bumper coming onto the Island.  Both lanes were at a standstill coming over the bridge.  Locals are telling me the Island is booked solid for the July 4th weekend.  .
