Frederic Chopin - "Raindrop" Prelude in D-flat Major, Op. 28 No. 15

This is a video from my student recital in December 2009. I've played approximately one-third of Chopin's 24 preludes now, and I'm not sure if I'll get around to playing them all, but I played three for this recital. This is Prelude number 15, Sostenuto, in D-flat Major, best known as the famous "Raindrop" prelude. It really is a beautiful piece...this is the kind of piece that just makes you want to gaze longingly out your window into the distance as you play it. At the same time, it's one of those pieces where I can potentially give a really flat performance if I'm not emotionally involved enough with it at the moment. I do think this was one of my better performances of the piece, though, except for a few wrong notes here and there.
