Cheap Eats Manila: Ramen Jiro Hakata Tonkotsu Mandaluyong.  Ramen Jiro is an authentic ramen house by Tori Jiro in Japan and also has a branch in Rome Italy.  The opened their first branch in the Philippines at the High Pointe Medical Hub in Mandaluyong in July 2018.  Ramen Jiro serves iekei or home-style ramen which uses a combination of two ramen soup bases: tonkotsu or pork-bone broth and shoyu or soy sauce broth which they serve with thick flat noodles combined with melt in mouth chasyu, soft boiled egg and other toppings will definitely satisfy your noodle cravings.  Aside from their Spicy Devil's Ramen Challenge we would also highly recommend the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen, Edamame, Yaki Gyoza, Ebi Tempura and for dessert their Vanilla with Matcha Ice Cream, Green Tea Ice Cream and Coffee Jelly with Ice Cream.
