The Whirlwind was a Maurer Sohne spinning coaster that was located at the now closed Camelot Theme Park in Lancashire. The Whirlwind track was 1400ft in length and reached speeds of up to 55km/h, the ride had a capacity of 930 riders every hour. Each carriage had enough space to hold 4 people and the ride spun around independently as it traveled along the track.
