Dylan’s TEDx talk will be detail some of his personal experiences and explain of some of what he believes to be underutilized tools in the pursuit of self-improvement. His goal is to educate, inspire, and demonstrate how most often the first step forward in making a global change is a step taken in changing one’s self. Dylan comes from Englewood, Florida, and is also a second year student at UWCRCN. Whether it is through his poetry, or music, he enjoys exploring the human mind and its many complexities. Dylan hopes to study both biochemistry and neuroscience in his time at university. In his free time, Dylan can often be found either out in the mountains or in the gym where he leads the college’s weightlifting group. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
