well i think its nice for them to do some different bits and bobs and not just show jumping all the time so took tem to the alton show and attempted some ridden showing haha none of us really knew what we were doing first i did the open 3ft3 working hunter with V she went realky well was pulled in first after her jumping then the judge rode her and she wasnt too keen on him so put her down to fourth she tryed really hard though so chuffed with her not bad considering neither of us have odne anything like tha before judges comments : a fantastic first effort at working hunter just need to accept leg better . not to bothered afterall you want a show jumper off the leg and sensitive !! then i took casper in the competition horse he was so so excited bless him after proceeding to rear into the arena he did a slightly speedy but okish individual show and tryed so hard round the jumps he ewas so brave doing all the rustic and skinnys and double dog legs first time so so proud then it took me 4 laps to stop after that so i think that may have put us down a bit then we all went back in and trotted and cantered around together and he had chilled out a bit and went like a saint so im pleased with him judges comments: i still love him but he needs to just be slightly less excitable" she placed him champion inhand last year and remembered him :) enjoyyyyy =] it was good fun anyway!! :)
