There has been some debate in the professional scene about the current state of the SAUG SMG, initially brought up by SlasheR. While he argues it should be Gentleman's Agreement (GA)'d out of the game entirely, I explore why it doesn't seem overpowered in context of previous games.

However, many pros recognise its inconsistencies compared to slower-shooting, heavier-hitting SMGs of the past. Can appropriate buffs to other subs improve the current meta?
