The generation of power via means other than our dupes on hamster wheels has been a goal of ours  for awhile. However, there are no perfect solutions. The generation of power from coal, for example, creates both heat and copious amounts of Co2. How do we mitigate that? Turn the downside into an upside and reap the benefits. After all: our hatches haven't been working overtime for no reason.
