GORUCK is a military SpecOps inspired and designed challenge of endurance, physical conditioning, teamwork and above all, mental toughness. Class 671 completed their challenge on 28-29 June 2013 in approximately 11 hours. PT, Clinton Square Beach, team log carry, GORUCK Baseball, buddy carries, sandbag babies, running and much more challenged all. GORUCK proceeds benefit the Green Beret Foundation. Thank you to Cadre Adam, a USMC Recon Veteran, for allowing me to tag along and document this event; and congratulations to my brother who is abundantly featured in this brief video. For those familiar with Syracuse they started at Clinton Square including PT in the fountain, proceeded to stair runs in the federal parking garage, marched over towards the Rosemond Gifford Zoo on the West Side to acquire logs, log carry through Armory Square, downtown and to SU's Thorndon Park and then back to Clinton Square. Capped-off with a hearty breakfast at Stella's Diner.
