The Exchange, working to make Corpus cool again

There have been numerous efforts to revitalize downtown Corpus Christi over the years. And if enthusiasm and a vision combined with energy are ingredients to success a trio of young entrepreneurs here in town just may have a winning formula. Jeremy Wells, Xavier Ramos and Hank Harrison are the driving force behind a new downtown attraction called 'The Exchange". It's located at the corner of North Mesquite and William street. And they describe it as a gathering place for art and culture here in Corpus Christi. There's a full-service bar with a hundred different brands of beer from local breweries and around the world. There are a restaurant and cafe that feature local cuisines. The walls are a gallery for local artists and there's even a stage for local musicians to perform. Wells, Ramos, and Harrison have known each other since their fraternity days at Christopher Newport College in Newport News, Virginia. They have started 4 businesses in the past 3 years starting with a food truck you've probably seen around town called the "Munchies Bus.
