At our May 24, 2009 wedding we surprised our guests towards the end of the evening with a dance inspired by The Notebook. I'm a huge romance fan, especially Nicolas Sparks stories. Elements of our wedding we inspired by the 4 books of his that have been made into movies. We had music from the sountracks playing before and after the ceremony, I walked down the isle to "Only Hope" like Mandy Moore's character in A Walk To Remember and he had this dance. We're not the greatest dancers and didn't practice as much as I hoped we would so we're a bit stiff but it was still fun and everyone liked it.
