The flight operated from Chişinău International Airport (KIV/LUKK), Moldova, to Kiev Zhulyany (IEV/UKKK), Ukraine, as flight number TDM1410. This optical illusion only appeared when filming with my Nikon D90 SLR, the pocket camera had no such effect. The Ivchenko AI-20M turboprop engines left huge smoke trails, reflecting the typical Cold War design of the 1960s.
