After a lot of news about the bankruptcy of Hostess, the company which makes Twinkies, it has now been reported that Bimbo is interested in the acquisition of Hostess, with its number of brands, including Twinkies. This move which is still just in talks so far, seems to be the only salvation at the moment for Twinkies. This is being led by the CEO of the Bimbo company, Daniel Servitje Montull. So yes, Mexico seems to be the salvation of the Twinkies, but not of the jobs of the people left working for Hostess. The production would move to Mexico, creating a lot of jobs there, and taking advantage of the much cheaper Mexican sugar. But what do you think? Do you like Twinkies?
