2018 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year Jon Hazell recalls how he 'flipped' his classroom years ago to allow the students to teach. He gave them the freedom to lead in their own way and stepped back. It was a positive experience for everyone and made all the students feel more invested in learning. “It was one of the greatest things that I’ve ever had happen in the classroom,“ he says.
