The mid-season finale of Empire had shade, reads and another cliffhanger for the record books.

First up was the ultimate Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) vs. Diana Dubois (Phylicia Rashad) wig snatch, as Ms. Lyon called the sinister martriach a “kidnapping conniving ho.”



Diana didn’t take that likely and came for Cookie’s boys by calling them her “intellectually-challenged” children!

But it didn’t turn out well for Clair Huxtable as she was carted off by the police for kidnapping baby Bella.



And it was Lucious (Terrence Howard) who wound up incapacitated while tending to Andre (Trai Byers) in the hospital.

As Andre confesses by saying: “The bomb…I tried to kill you. The bomb,” Lucious gets injected with a needle by a mystery assailant.



Turns out it was Demi Moore aka Claudia doing her best Misery impersonation. NURSE!

We’re going to have to wait until March to find out what happens!
