Inspiration
This song is part of the concept that every man at some point is asked.... Would you prefer a beautiful fool or an ugly braniac? Before y'all get your high horses, beauty is still in the eye of the beholder. This song is actually inspired by a movie entitled, "I Love You Beth Cooper". The summary is that this guy was in love with the image of this girl and when he finally had a chance to spend some time with her, he learned that they were not compatible. Sooo.... I developed that concept for this song.


One thing that is interesting about this song....
In the chorus, I slide in a line that asks if the attraction to this woman is a classic unrequited love or is it all about loneliness? I actually slated this album to have 3 art pieces on it. This is my way of saying that these are songs that only an artist or a mother could love as I would be very surprised if it ever made it on major commercial radio stations as it is truly a unique song.
