In this lecture/discussion video from my Spring 2013 Introduction to Philosophy class at Marist College, we continue our study of Cicero's work On the Nature of the Gods, now focusing on book 2, in which the Stoic philosopher, Balbus, presents his school's position on divine matters.  We discuss the Stoic conception of God/the gods, why the divine would care about the universe, and five classic arguments for the existence of God
