Urban-Industrial Solutions and Business Opportunities (I) Theme: Circular Economy and Urban Waste Management, organized during the 2nd “BRIDGE for Cities – Belt and Road Initiative: Developing Green Economies for Cities” event, held at the Vienna International Centre, UNIDO Headquarters, Vienna, Austria from 26 to 28 September 2017. The “BRIDGE for Cities” event is a large-scale annual event that aims to advance the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the New Urban Agenda. The event promotes the implementation of the 2030 Agenda via the Belt and Road Initiative, with which it shares many similarities, to encourage municipal officials and development stakeholders to scale up their engagement in inclusive and sustainable urban-industrial development initiatives.
