EDIT: Test is partially invalid, the deck armor on a Yamato is actually 8-9" thick. There is A section that is 3" thick at the front in front of the turrets and in the aft section. Got more testing to do! Does the USN BB's 16" Mark 8 SH-APC perform exactly like WG says it does? WG claims that they use the penetration tables and angle of fall tables that Navy Weaps does. In this test we put those claims to the test with non-surprising results. So does it perform? Watch the video and find out! No spoilers in the comments! ;) Pro-Tip: Coming in 5.10 is supposedly shell normalization changes... shell normalization is the angle at which the shell will automatically bounce regardless of how much it can actually pen. If that is true, then expect even more difficulties ahead for USN BB's.
