The Mayor of London sat down at a sewing machine whilst touring the new East End Manufacturing Ltd clothing factory on Tuesday. In an effort to champion manufacturing in London, Boris Johnson gave sewing a go and after a few attempts said that his finished product looked like a "codpiece". His efforts come just days after the Prince Charles pitched in during a visit to his favoured tailor and tried his hand at making a shirt.
