3)    Then, make a project that enunciates those two aspects. Make a project about those two aspects. For example, you may want to make a work that explores, in part, a specific lighting strategy that Kuchar relies on. Your project could be a recreation of this lighting dynamic in a video, in a photograph, in a diorama, in a staged tableau, in a series of drawings or blueprints. The same work would also have to illustrate, be about, another aspect of Kuchars work that you have chosen as well.

Again, the medium you work in is up to you. You can work in painting, drawing, performance, video, photography, sculpture, writing (a story, an essay, a screenplay), or something else.  Your choice.

 

Please note: no equipment will be provided by the Department. You must use equipment that you already have access to, but consider that film and video equipment is not needed for this assignment.
