Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express is one of the premier train in the exclusive fleet of Rajdhani Expresses of Indian Railways. Currently there are three set of Rajdhani Express which connects New Delhi (Capital of India) with Guwahati and Dibrugarh.
1. 12423/12424 runs between Dibrugarh Town and New Delhi daily.
2. 12235/12236 runs between Dibrugarh and New Delhi via Muzaffarpur once a week.
3. 12435/12436 runs between Dibrugarh Town and New Delhi via Hajipur twice a week.
Derailment--
On 25 June, 2014, this train derailed in Chhapra, Bihar, killing four people and seriously injuring eight. Sabotage by Naxalites was considered but ruled out as the cause of the crash.
