A request from Pipp90 for some Johnny Cash songs made me realise that despite being a great fan of The Man In Black, I do not tend to sing many of his songs. The main reason for this is that my friend Des who organizes our Tuesday night music sessions sings his songs so well and I am quite happy just playing along with him. However, it is time I did some myself, so here goes with one that is new to me, written for Johnny by Glen Danzig and called simply Thirteen.
I suspect that it was influenced by a song called The Young Man That Used To Be Me, for although sung at a different tempo, the tunes to each are very similar.
