Happy 2019! This year I'd thought I'd try something a little different. We're not doing a cocktail this week. Let's make something for those New Year's dinners and parties. A boozy appetizer I like to call Boozy Killer Bread using Galliano! You'll love it.

BOOZY KILLER BREAD
--------------------
INGREDIENTS:
1 LOAF FRENCH, ITALIAN OR CIABATTA BREAD
3 CLOVES OF GARLIC – OR MORE
1/2 CUP FRESH PARSLEY
1/4 CUP OLIVE OIL
A COUPLE GOOD PATS OF BUTTER
2 OZ. GALLIANO L’AUTENTICO
FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER  
1 CUP OR MORE OF A SHREDDED MIX OF MOZZARELLA, MONTEREY JACK & CHEDDAR
1/2 CUP FRESHLY GRATED PARMIGIANO-REGGIANO

PREPARATION:
1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.

2. IN A FOOD PROCESSOR, ADD THE GARLIC, PARSLEY, OIL, BUTTER, GALLIANO AND FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER TO TASTE. PUREE UNTIL SMOOTH.

3. CUT THE BREAD IN HALF AND SPREAD THE MIXTURE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BREA. WRAP IN ALUMINUM FOIL, BAKE FOR 10 MINUTES.

4. UNWRAP THE BREAD AND SPRINKLE MIXED CHEESES OVER TOP INCLUDING GRATED PARMIGIANO-REGGIANO.

5. RETURN TO OVEN OPEN FACE FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL THE TOP IS GOLDEN BROWN AND BUBBLY.

6. SQUEEZE FRESH LEMON OVER TOP – OPTIONAL

7. SLICE AND SERVE IMMEDIATELY.
