C&C cages are guinea pig cages that you can make yourself. Another good cage is called the Midwest Guinea habitat. There is a cover that is sold separately that you can put on top. As a volunteer at the Los Angeles Guinea Pig Rescue, many people asked me about guinea pigs and other pets like dogs and cats. We recommend keeping your guinea pig cage up on a table. If I was a cat I wouldn't try to jump into a guinea pig cage I might not lose that fight but I probably wouldn't win it either. But if you are still concerned about your guinea pig safety, and you should always take all precautions to make sure without a doubt that your guinea pigs are safe from predators and that also includes family pets that might be of concern, I would recommend putting a top on your cage. The Midwest top is sold separately but the C&C cage is something that you make yourself and in either case you can make a suitable top using organizing Cube grids and zip ties.
