A brilliant semi driver does about as good a job as you can do, driving the Praag Valley Dugway on Highway 88. It's not his fault that the truck can't stay in the lanes, the road is just too narrow for a truck that size. Watch as the driver keeps tractor part of the semi perfectly within the lanes (with hardly any room to spare and no guardrails). But the curves are just too tight for the trailer wheels to stay in the lanes. Now imagine a few things: - lots more trucks like this - a less skilled driver - an oncoming driver who is unskilled or unaware (or a motorcyclist, or a bicyclist) This road doesn't provide any room to make mistakes, and that drop off to the right is about 50 to 100 feet down in places. There have already been several fatalities recorded on this segment of Highway 88. Just imagine what will happen with 200+ frac sand truck trips a day across this ridge.
