Lava Flow into the Pacific from Kilauea

This brief video was taken at dusk to show the lava flow from Hawaii's Mount Kilauea into the Pacific Ocean. It's necessary to be pretty far back from the lava because the steam clouds contain a lot of sulfuric acid, plus if you're closer there is a risk of being hit with flying rock or a rogue wave from a shelf breaking off and falling into the sea. I cut the background sound, but there was a lot of ooh-ing and aah-ing like you would expect at a fireworks display. Fun times!
