All I can say is... "What a difference a couple of new valve washers can make". Replaced the washers on the safety valve and the whistle. Plus replaced rubber ring on safety valve too. I also swapped over the pistons, as I had read that you should always try and keep the same piston with the same cylinder. When I cleaned the engine up I may have got them swapped. Must add that I still havent fitted a washer to the regulator yet, so performance may well improve more. Really happy with this engine now...
