Self - Storage and holding on to "The Stuff"...

This one happened in New Jersey but it could take a place anywhere. We are all storing our "STUFF" justifying that "some day" we'll need it. We all are paying lots of money every month to be able one day to retrieve it and use it. And that's what happened here. Except, in this particular case, it was not a happy ending. And the question is: Is it really worth keeping it, or we would be better off selling, or GIVING AWAY our belongings to someone who could actually use it....?
