There have been many mentions of using a 6AL5 tube as a clipper on web forums. Well, I decided to see about designing one that works. Here it is! Super cool way to develop tube distortion at low wattage levels. My design utilizes variable plate voltage for total linear control. Very soon we will have a live demo! TD
