Written by John Stewart, under the title Where Are You Going With The Rain, this is one of my favourite Kingston Trio songs. I first heard it played and sung by a friend at College. His name was Tony Martin and he was a great instrumentalist and singer. He sang this song to a group of us one evening when he had come to our hostel to borrow another friend's guitar which he, Eric Payne a cabinet maker by trade, had made himself. (It had a fantastic quality of sound and workmanship and was the guitar I started learning on). Tony sang this song to us on a still summer evening and as he finished singing, a gentle shower began to fall outside, almost prophetically.
