Qiaobi, the Chinese company behind an offensive laundry detergent ad, has issued an apology after receiving endless backlash. The spot features a black actor being shoved into a washing machine and coming out as a Chinese man. Unfortunately, this is far from the first time a commercial has come under fire for being racially offensive. So why are there so many racist commercials?
