A few months ago, I built a micro-quadcopter and had a blast flying it, but its high-kV motors were hard on the batteries and it was just a bit wonky. Check out my blog about the pseudo-micro quadcopter: https://blog.brianmoses.net/2018/01/brians-pseudo-micro-quadcopter.html I decided it wasn't really a "micro" quadcopter at all and it was much more of a "mini" quadcopter. I promptly decided to put bigger motors (TMotor F20 II ) and that I also wanted to try out the RunCam Split Micro so that I could get some HD footage without weighing it down with a GoPro. I'm pretty pleased with the results, this is my first day flying after having to wait on RunCam to replace a faulty lens (the IR filter came loose -- see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oirnF-o6GM )
