For the pandas that have just experienced a hot summer, how will they spend this cooler period of time? Pandas have a thick fur coat so they don't mind the temperature change. The milder temperatures allow the pandas to enjoy their playtime even more! On September 7th of 1930, "The Father of Hybrid Rice", Yuan Long ping was born. He spend his life developing hybrid rice varieties. 83 years later today, pandas may not eat rice, but they do love their bamboo. They would never waste a single stalk of it!
